The Scrum Master will be primarily working with the product, engineering, and data science teams (affectionately referred to as PED)  to support agile delivery.
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing multiple development projects under the Platform and Portal work stream
  • Driving daily scrum meetings, participating in sprint reviews, product backlog and sprint backlog grooming sessions and retrospectives
  • Partnering closely with the business and technical leadership and providing regular status reports on projects
  • Tracking and managing project status through metrics and goals and facilitating the team’s progress towards those goals
  • Coaching team members, addressing conflict and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Building relationships with the engineering, data science, and quality assurance teams in order to coordinate all aspects of project delivery and closure
  • Developing and implementing standard scrum process methodologies
  • Ensuring that multiple projects are delivered on time and within budget with a high quality of standards
  • Addressing and removing impediments in the projects
  • Suggesting and implementing continuous process improvement
Required skills and qualifications
  • REQUIRED Bachelor Degree in a related field
  • ScrumMaster Certification is highly preferred and will be given priority
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a ScrumMaster
  • A mastery of Agile methodology and principles
  • Program / Project Management experience, or the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
